Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last Straw(book review) Roberto T. Avalos

The theme of this story ,Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last  Straw, was that to be strong and manly because if you don't, someone will get annoyed by it. And they will do something  about it. The book is about how Greg can't fix  his wimpy ways. So Greg's dad is planning to sand him  to the Spag Union to man up. What I liked about the book was that how there are so many events that Greg and Rowley do. Rowley is one of Greg's best friends. Also how Greg's dad is planning to send him to the military academy. I liked how the author, Jeff Kinney, put all these funny cool pictures of what the text is based on. In the first part of the book, Greg makes a list of what each of his family members needs so that they can be a better person. But then it turns out that Greg needs to be a better person. So his dad ,Frank Heffly, plans to send him to the military academy if he won't man-up. So Frank puts him in multiple sports so that he can shape up. At the end, Greg thought that his dad was ready to send him off but his dad was sitting on the table reading the news paper not even dressed yet. So greg realized that he wasn't going to be sent after all.
